Thursday Oct 5, I spotted this hummingbird at the Turks Cap flowers located at my back fence, it let me take lots of pictures of it. A little later I walked to the Turks Cap flowers located on the side of my house and I seen two hummingbirds.

Finally we got some good rain, it started around 8:30 pm Wednesday night, this morning my rain gauge had 2 1/2 inches in it. The high temp for the day was 84 degrees.

Flowers available for our hummers are: Turks Cap, Tall Mexican Petunias, one group in my back and front yard, and I have the short Mexican Petunias on the front yard side of my house, Rose Mallow bush, hanging basket of red Petunias, pot of Red Pentas in a tall plant stand, vine with purple Clematis (not very many on the vine) some morning glories that have popped up on my fence, Garden Phlox, a Big Crepe Myrtle tree in my front yard. I have a Fire Bush that have lots of buds on it, some have opened up. The Fire Bush buds always open up @ the end of hummingbird season.
