While feeders will be maintained another few weeks, my last Ruby-throated Hummingbird sightings were September 22. The two weeks preceding that were very busy for here. The birds seemed to be not adult males, and some definitive immature males. Often several birds in the yard at once, without the usual territorial drama during the last week.
