Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/06/2023

Number: 1

I did spot a hummer at the chain link fence out back by the Turks Cap Flowers. I stood there starring wondering if that was a hummer sitting there, then I finally seen it fly away and seen it was a hummer. This was around 5pm.

The temp was 65 degrees at 7:06 am, the high was expected to be 86 degrees. The temp in the morning is going to be around 53 degrees!

Flowers available for our hummers are: Turks Cap, Tall Mexican Petunias, one group in my back and front yard, and I have the short Mexican Petunias on the front yard side of my house, Rose Mallow bush, hanging basket of red Petunias, pot of Red Pentas in a tall plant stand, vine with purple Clematis (not very many on the vine) some morning glories that have popped up on my fence, Garden Phlox, a Big Crepe Myrtle tree in my front yard. I have a Fire Bush that have lots of buds on it, some have opened up. The Fire Bush buds always open up @ the end of hummingbird season.
