Number: 100
Following a very dismal migration season, numbers started inching up each day, (still are), here at Peninsula Point Lighthouse. We managed to tag nearly 100 in a two day period. They are heavily feeding on what’s left of the knapweed, and are waiting for warmer temps and N winds to carry them over Lake Michigan to the Door Co. Peninsula in WI. Highs only in the 40’s
This is very late for our area. Hoping they can get out soon!
