After I claimed three days ago that I thought we had seen the last of our hummingbirds and signed off from reporting for the year. I was about to go out and take down the nectar feeder. Just then a female showed up here at dusk. Doesn't look to me like one of our locals. But it does show that we need to keep the feeders up much later than one might think. This is the latest sighting I have had at our feeder, ever.
