Sightings have been fewer the past week but we were still seeing at least two at once daily. Saw one Ruby-throated hummingbird feeding heavily at the Amistad salvia at 9:30 am and then again at the lantana at 10:15. Did not observe it using the feeder with fresh syrup. It preferred the flowers. No more sightings the rest of the day. Partly cloudy, 52 degrees, wind 4 mph from SSW.
