Number: 1

This female monarch spent last night here. She tried to leave yesterday, but it was too windy. She came out of her hiding spot about 11:30 a:m and perched in these cedars for about 15 minutes. Then she flew off in a southwest direction. It was still very windy at the time. Winds from the West gusting to 50 km/hr at times. It was mostly sunny and a high of 12F. Adios brave girl!
