flew 1m 80 above the ground within 1 m of me while I was removing spent Milkweed stalks fromthe front lawn - it got nectarfrom the buddleija and basked for about ten seconds on a tall rose bush.

The monarch flushed a buckeye butterfly from a Tulip tree dried leaf on the lawn and then contiued flying to the southwestat ca.15:10 EDT. Thebuckey is still here along with an Eastern Comma
GRT.
