We observed several monarchs flying south west along the north shore of Lake Erie at the level of the trees on the bluff! We spotted them every 30-60 seconds apart one at a time, sometimes 2 at a time. We suspect they were heading for Point Pelee to rest before crossing the lake for the journey down to Mexico! Very exciting and magical!
