Between 1805 & 1845 hrs, 17 Monarchs were observed leaving the hayfield & flying into the maple trees on the south side of the field to roost. No roost groupings were observed. 72°F, light northerly breeze, 54% relative humidity & sunny.
Around 1430 hrs, 5+ Monarchs had been observed nectaring on clover at the southern end of the hayfield.
