I was surprised to see my hummingbird friend today. Yesterday, October 11th, we had cold winds and rain. All of the sugarcane is knocked down along with tree limbs. It cooled down to 41 degrees Fahrenheit last night. I thought the hummingbirds would've gone across the Gulf by now to escape the cold storm. It is back to 74 degrees and sunny today.
