Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/13/2023

Number: 1

This immature male ruby throat continues to extend our hummingbird latest sighting date. He was still here in late afternoon so he should be around tomorrow morning. It nectared mostly from black-and-blue salvias and cigar flowers. Nectar feeders are virtually ignored. It was a chilly rainy day with a high in the low 50s. I was not able to observe an evening quitting time.
