Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/14/2023

Number: 4

On a breezy , sunny day , to my delight , FOUR monarchs appeared around one o'clock and remained among the flowers for over three hours. Then they flew away , hopefully going to roost somewhere nearby. ( I was hoping that they would roost on our property.)

These four spent most of their time just resting on the wild Ageratum flowers and basking in the sun. Not so much time was spent nectaring on the Ageratum or the butterfly bushes.

Just thrilled to have this many, at one time, spend time with us. Wishing them a safe journey on their way back home.
