This fall, Cape May and Cape May Point, have had very small roosting activity. It's been too warm some nights and we haven't had the usual n, nw, wnw, or w winds, as often, to push the monarchs towards the coast. We have had a few smaller size roosts in the last week due to the cooler temperatures. Most are averaging, 25, 40, 60... sometimes totaling in th hundreds, but not all in one place.
