A total of 6 females today. I took all but two feeders down. Around 5:30 today I spotted a tiny female at the feeder. So small. Broke my heart. She sat for so long like she didn’t know what to do.
This has been the greatest season ever and the saddest. As I’m typing, another bird went to the feeder. See picture. Not a good photo but it’s probably the last one for today. Another female.
