We have seen several Monarch caterpillars this last month.
The first one turned to a chrysalis on September 26 and turned into a butterfly on today, October 16
2 are still in chrysalis stage, and one looks like a parasite killed it. There were a few more caterpillars but we were never able to find their chrysalis
