I observed for 20+ minutes a very faded female with part of her lower right wing missing, ovipositing on Arizona milkweed (Asclepias angustifolia).
I have a large patch of three different varieties of native milkweed. She only used the one type as I watched. The same female returned two days later and continued to oviposit in the same patch.


Now weeks later I’ve found larva and will report on a separate form
