Single female Monarch Butterfly sighted nectaring on flowers in my garden. This is the first sighting this entire year in spite of the fact that my garden has ample milkweed for laying eggs and nourishing caterpillars to their final instar. Weird, as I’ve had plenty of visitors in years past.
