Same agressive 'Bullet' pointed tail nectaring from flowers knocked off a new real small hummingbird at 6:30 last night from Hamelia in office window. He was roosting in Maple or Holly tree just 6 feet away.
I think he's a juvenile male that is again here 8 a.m. chasing last nights out of desert willow tree this morning. I have not been able to see what new one is yet.
He's now zig zagging a sparrow sitting on wire to house which is above red porterweed plant, This is in patio area that suits me just fine. It's getting more interesting each day with migration extending into our spot very late. Or is it the same juvenile that has been here quite a while.
