I brought this male in from my milkweed when he was a 5th instar caterpillar. He turned his chrysalis on October 2nd in one of my indoor enclosures. He emerged today and will be released as soon as he is ready. He is outside now getting energy from the sun. I have two more ready to emerge, brought inside at the same stage and formed chrysalis on the same day. But they may not emerge until tomorrow. Luckily, our weather is to be warm and sunny all week.
