Between 11:30 and 12:30 I was outside and spotted two monarchs. One was nectaring on Tithonia when a phoebe tried to grab it. (Okay, I thought birds knew better)! It escaped and fluttered off. I never saw the second one alight. Today was warm (70s) and sunny with a light breeze.
