This ruby-throated hummer was a new arrival late yesterday evening or early this morning. I saw this one and the immature male that has been here having an aerial battle. Saw the 2 again at the same time while the new arrival nectared at the black-and-blue salvia in the picture and the other perched in a nearby ash tree.
