Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/24/2023

Number: 1

An immature male Ruby-throat continues to hang on at our yard. I didn't have my camera handy today so this picture of him is from a couple days ago. He was feeding again from black-and-blue salvias. I thought he had left this morning but then saw him this afternoon. The second hummer from yesterday has left. Had rain and thunderstorms during the day. High temperature was in the 50s. This little guy is really giving us an amazing season. And all the other RTHBs that have streamed thru our yard the last few weeks from farther north.
