I observed a solitary male nectaring on zinnias and Mexican sunflowers for three days in a row, and assume it was the same male each day. For the next three days I observed a solitary female nectaring primarily on zinnias, again assuming it was the same female each day. Both Monarchs were brightly colored with no signs of fading.
