Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 10/28/2023

Number: 2

We have had 2 ruby-throated hummers here again today. Not sure if one left as I saw only one about 5:30. We had sub-32° last night and will freeze again tonight. Snow is in the forecast. I am now officially worried about these 2 hummers not migrating. For awhile today I thought both had left. Some of our black-and-blue salvias survived the freeze but that won't last. Didn't have my camera handy today so picture attached is from yesterday. High temp today was only about 34°. I hope they are curious enough to check the nectar feeders. Need some prayer for them!
