Juvenile male Ruby-throated showed up looking terribly haggard on Oct. 27. He's more active and eating better but still here at 6:30 PM Oct. 30. He's roosting in a Wisteria that's wrapped around my front porch. Our temps are plummeting so I've hung a large "lighted" Christmas decoration, giving off enough warmth that he perched on it last night.
