On Monday, November 6, 2023 all of the second graders at Mapleton Elementary planted 73 Red Emperor Tulips in our Journey North flower bed. The students were excited to plant the tulips. When they first observed the bulbs they thought the tulips looked a lot like onions. The students are anxious to see the tulips start to grow. We did see evidence of worms and spiders who like being in the flower bed as well.
