The adult Monarch was spotted near the double-gate leading into Elgin Memorial Park from the Parks & Rec side/by Hwy 95. They have a huge pollinator garden, but it was a surprise as it seems a bit late in the season. Unfortunately I did not have my phone, but I did wish it a safe journey.
