Same original male Rufous is still here. Sighted on desert willow tree twig under red disk in photo around 7:30 a.m. Very used to me as before going out to feed Koi, and was doing u flight up and down out of tree.
The Buff-bellied was here until 9 a.m. yesterday as that's when the male Rufous returned to patio plants nectaring.
I saw a Rufous first time this morning on opposite side sitting in yellow sophra plant at 6:48 a.m today. Guarding the small high view feeder. bc my son saw a hummingbird zooming in that area 2 days ago.
May have 2 Rufous, but not sure yet. Friendly male Rufous actually stuck his beak in JB feeder hung under pergola to sip at 9 a.m.
