Our spring-like conditions have fooled our robins. I saw 4 of them today around 4:30 pm. They were enjoying the last bit of sunshine in the tops of the almost leaf-less trees. Then one of them started singing!
Yes, the true song of the Robin. There were some whinney and peek calls, too.
Temps were in the low 60's with a 6mph WSW wind and plenty of sunshine.
Sure surprised to hear a Robin singing in November! I'm still seeing a few dandelions and violets, so the plants are confused, too.
