Male Rufous still here after rain all day yesterday off and on. This is a different, not same previous photo in nectaring from flowers. Photo shows his neck ring is starting to gradually develop with orange dots.
Today he spent an hour doing real high arials before salvia nectaring in 70 degrees. Rufous and a pair of Cardinals were the only ones present in fog having patio all to themselves at 8:15 a.m until other song birds came in.
