Same overwintering male Rufous is getting a lot more of his breeding color/feathers all over. His neck is just a bit popping more orange dots thru out.
We definitely had another sub adult Rufous like I thought totally different in appearance. Just doesn't seem to be visible when I can watch.
Current male is flicking his wings and tail early today in cold overcast 49 degrees on his twig which speaks he saw it too.
