Male Rufous still here in 48 degree morning being nice to the unusual white & brown color of wren on right sitting on a desert willow tree twig in photo. With Rufous on left twig. Both sitting in purple gurantica that grew unusually tall this year.

On cold mornings we have to keep bubble wrap on JB feeder. Sun hits feeder around 8:30 a.m. But Rufous prefers nectaring from purple salvias we have potted,blooming well now.
