Male Rufous showed up later than usual around 7:30 a.m. Came zooming in with all wet feathers. Must have did the bathing in heavy dew leaves this morning. Finally saw hook in tail feather to verify a Rufous when he was trying to dry off. Molting a lot with that cotton bottom fluff above his legs. Preening more also.

If last years Rufous shows up as he did in January he won't be able to come into patio flowers. With this current Rufous constantly patrolling this area in and out.
