Our summer 2023 hatchings about 100+ eggs, larva then adult butterflies only 3 couldn't fly. Then mid Nov we spotted eggs & larva on tropical milkweed we cut back. We got 40+ eggs &/or caterpillars then chrysalis in our screened area. They winter are not that healthy. Some cant fly or wings are deformed or the chrysalis turns dark black currently we have about 7 or 8 cats & about 25 chrysalis on tropical milkweed. It has been in the 50s to 60s & only warming up to high 60s. I put them in the sun during day and have to bring them in at night.
