adult bald eagle sailing downstream above 2 cent bridge with moderate tail wind. eagle flyover prompted the ring-billed gulls perched on the promenade railing to loft into brief flight until the eagle passed southward out of view. several other recent eagle sightings along the Kennebec River from the 2 cent bridge downstream as far as the Kennebec Sanitary Treatment Plant not formally included here at Journey North
