I've had an Anna's Hummingbird living at my place since a cold front hit us in the Davis Mountains of Texas in late October 2023. She chirps at me every morning, having survived single digit temperatures and 70 mph winds, and so far, keeps greeting me every morning. On extremely cold days, I slip a wooly sock over the glass portion of the feeder to help keep it from freezing too quickly.
