1:30 PM saw male ruby throathummer feeding on blooms of Mahonia shrub .
2 PM saw hummer feeding on diffrent Mahonia shrub for a couple minutes.
Normally see first hummer the first week of April. Have previously had hummer spend the whole winter with us.
