This report is late, (typing on 3/5/24) but I did make the observation in late Feb. Actually, and to be honest, the robins never really "left" this year. I witnessed them all winter long (very mild winter with only a couple of big snows) I'd see them every day hanging out in trees and yards. So, literally every month has sported robins this winter! However, the larger wave was observed and there have been many more since. The earliest I have ever seen robins claim their spaces!
