With a high pressure system moving into southern Alberta overnight, I thought it would be good for migrating waterfowl today. It was and approx. 200 Northern Pintail, 20 Redheads, 10 Common Goldeneye, 1 Lesser Scaup and 5 American Wigeon were observed. Pintails are usually the first arrivals.
