Technically I first spotted a milkweed sprout on March 7 but it was in a pot. Today I spotted my first in-ground milkweed sprouts, located in south facing front-yard garden.

All milkweeds spotted so far are in pots except this one.

No sight of any milkweed in the OKC Water Utilities Trust property behind our house.



Swamp milkweed has proven to grow well from fall seeding in large pots.
