One Monarch Chrysalis, hanging from a butterfly bush in my backyard. I’m assuming that it was formed in the fall, given that I live in the northeast and the Monarchs migrate from here in the fall. The Chrysalis appears to be in good shape, but am assuming it is not viable, given the length of time in its Chrysalis, and below freezing temperatures that it had been exposed to for the past 5-6 months. I will attempt to attach a photo.
