Reported by Don Davis: Susan Brown reported to this writer that on this very unusually warm day in Toronto, approaching 70 F, at Bestview Park, Susan photographed three butterfly species - Mourning Cloak, Eastern Comma and Compton Toroiseshell. The Compton Toroiseshell broke Susan's record for the earliest sighting of that species from 2012. Susan also photographed these same three species on March 13, 2024.
