This morning while in town saw a lone Trumpeter Swan flying overhead. Then when on my way home saw a tucked-in pair on the middle of the completely iced over lake where swans return every year. It's been unseasonably warm this winter with these last few days in the low fifties. This next week we are due to get colder so my heart goes out to them.
