Spotted an adult male Rufous in all its glory nectarine from a feeder in the yard at 1538. I reached for my phone to snap a photo, but it zipped away a second later. I have yet to see or hear signs of
female Rufous hummingbirds in the area, but the male's presence leads me to imagine that they must be nearby. Will post a photo soon. Temp was a balmy 71F this afternoon.
