This is a follow-up photo to my Adult Monarch Sighted report of 03/14/24. At times as the female monarchs were checking milkweed and laying eggs, they would take a rest break and sunbathe a bit. I was watching this monarch laying eggs on multiple plants when she paused her activity, rested on this milkweed, and allowed the sunlight to warm her outspread wings.
