This is a follow-up photo to my 03/26/24 Monarch Adult Sighted report. This is one of the lovely female monarchs I saw egg-laying today. It was a cool day with a light, but steady north breeze, so they took more frequent sunbathing and nectar breaks. This is the native green milkweed (Asclepias viridis).
