This is a follow-up photo to my 03/28/2024 Monarch Adult Sighted report. This is a mated monarch pair that I first saw amidst wildflowers on the ground ~ a chance sighting. They soon flew to a nearby pear tree, where I got this quick photo, before they took off for another tree in a higher location.
