Our male barn swallow (this is year #4 for us) showed up on 3/25 to scout out the nest (we have a permanent structure for them). Didn't see him again until this morning, when he showed up with his mate. We call them Chip and Joanna. They were flying around our back patio and making some serious noise. :) I love it when they show up!
