A couple days ago on March 23, I saw my first robin. He appeared again today (pretty sure it's the same one) perched high up in our crab apple tree after a big snowfall. He's been enjoying our heated bird bath but there doesn't seem to be much fruit left to enjoy. So I cleared out some snow and threw chopped up dried cranberry fruits on the ground the next few days and I actually noticed him foraging on the ground at one point. This seems to be much earlier than last year (Apr 16 2023) but we also had much less snow this year & a much milder winter.
